In the stage of economical development all the moving parts have been activated thousands of times simulating a years employment. The mechanical features of the new rollover, are such to enable it to face calmly the future.

A compact, strong structure, completely to be inspected, with a modern look and planned in such a way which suits to the environment where it is going to work.

Structure

Highly stiff and complex structure compounded, in the basic configuration, by five modular elements assembled among them by means of nuts and bolts in stainless steel.
A sophisticated design of the structure consisting of different galvanised elements enables to limit the tensions of the bending and welding processing, which come out after the hot galvanization process in the bath at a 455°C temperature.
The hot galvanization is the anti-corrosive protection per excellence.
Today it is not enough to evaluate the cost of a product at the time of its realization. It is necessary to evaluate the cost related to the life cycle (LCA), in order to gain the maximum performance and the best quality/price ratio.
Though the only hot galvanization is able to offer a satisfying life of the protection from the corrosion for many years, in order to increase the persistence of the protection, Mix applies to the own structural works the painting with Duplex system. This association of the two protective systems, with the choice of the most suitable painting, is used to increase endurance to the corrosion also when it is necessary to oppose a particularly aggressive environment.
The structure enables a passage width of 2,450 mm, in the mirror zone.

ADVANTAGES
Since the structure of the installation is completely hot galvanized, the rust is not a problem also after many years; MIX can guarantee the structure up to 7 years against the passing corrosion.

OPTIONS
The frame standard color is Grey RAL 9006. However, it can also be painted with different colors from the standard.

Basic Module

 

The basic module is specifically devoted to bear the static and dynamic loads which rest on it and which are necessary as for the stability of the washing installation.
The highly torsion rigidity of the module allows a long life of the translation wheels of the rollover and a low consumption of the rails.
The rollover movement is activated by a couple of compact reduction hollow shaft gears, which are directly keyed to the wheels, with a motor driven by an inverter for a progressive start-up and braking.
The wheels are in high resistance steel, with a big diameter, in order to enable a translation high speed and a long life of the same.
The idle wheels with pin in stainless steel have been planned with very thick external rings in order to withstand the strong rolling and collision loads which are exchanged with the rails surface.
Both the devices of rollover translation are very easy to be assembled /disassembled for eventual maintenance operations.
The high resistance steel rails are special profile type “Decauville”.
The joint plate is optimized in order to enable both the coupling among the elements and the fixing to the ground. The support elements enable the washing waters passage toward the collecting pipe at the centre of the concrete bed. Anti-overturning safety devices are installed at the end of the feet of the installation.

OPTIONALS
The installations may have a configuration with four washing heights:

• 2,30 m
• 2,60 m
• 2,80 m
• 3,10 m

The different heights are obtained by means of an extension element between the Basic Module and the Bearing Columnn of the rollover.

The rails, hot galvanized, have 9 m standard lengths to be extendable to 12 m.
The gauges of the rails are 2500 mm or 2850 mm

Top Brush

The top brush runs inside of two slide guides made of stainless steel, with special profile for “anti-falling” safety. It is supported by flat belts in polyurethane, customized, to satisfy the most difficult requirements such the resistance to humidity, greases, oils, UV rays and ozone.
A simplified system without clamps or perforating screws, allows a quick replacement of the flat belt reducing at the minimum the service times.
The ascent/descent movement is interlocked by means of a special motor-gearbox, which has been built in order to get a high acceleration capacity with a quite low installed power.
The motor of lifting/descent is run by an inverter for a progressive start-up and braking.
The pressure of the brush on the bodywork is adjusted by a sophisticated random control device, extremely precise, which supervises all the control functions up to height levels of effectiveness.
The rotation motor of the brush is built in such a way to be protected against powerful water jets and against aggressive chemical products.
An automatic device with preloading is controlling the flat belt tension, putting in “emergency” the car washing in case of breakdown.

OPTIONALS
The installations may have a configuration with three types of brushes.

• MIX-FOAM Brushes
• FLAT LIGHT Brushes
• TEXTIL Brushes

The MIX-FOAM™ have a life reckonable between twice and thrice superior than the traditional brushes . The MIX-FOAM™ are four times lighter than the traditional brushes. This means a soft”support” to the paint of the vehicles, much lighter than other brushes, thanks to their square shape. (4 x 4 mm)
The FLAT LIGHT have a largeness 5 times broader than the normal thread. Thanks to the many air microbubbles, they have a lightness without comparison. Their life is very limited.
The TEXTIL are made of a very resistant felt and quite water-repellent.
After dozens of thousand of washings, the felt deteriorates becoming less water-repellent and therefore heavier. For this reason, the brushes turn at a very low speed.

Side Brushes

The requirements of the movements which support the vertical brushes in the car washing systems consist of dynamics, speed, precision and, overall, repeatability in the time at extreme environmental conditions without carrying out too many interventions as for the adjustment.
MIX has designed a coupling between carriage and prismatic guide specifically targeted to be able to significantly increase the response to the stresses of vibrations during the washing steps.

The sliding rolling carriages applied to ensure excellent load carrying capacity, great rigidity, high speed, low wear, minimal lubrication and excellent smoothness. We realized all the rolling components by means of friction bearings in techno-polymer. Unlike of the ball bearings, the “high tech” polymers strengthened with fibers and added with solid lubricants, may work “dry” saving along the time the mechanical properties, low friction coefficient and long life. Resuming in a car washing plant the best features of this technology means to create the important competitive advantages belonging to this model, which can face any use without the compromises to have got a technology rather than another.
The brush pressure on the car body is set by a sophisticated control device, extremely precise, which supervises all the control functions up to height operations levels.

OPTIONALS
The installations are standard equipped with a device Bull Bar Safety and Towing: the motor vehicles which are equipped with these accessories could be a problem for the brushes damaging them in some cases. This disadvantage is eliminated by a hardware/software system which corrects the movement of the vertical brushes carrying out some obstacle removing operations.

 

Top Drying

Elegance and extreme care on the air flows create the perfect combination which gives to the top drying very good performances with optimal results. Made in stainless steel, it incorporates a safety double ring system, which guarantees the overcoming of complex obstacles, as for example, the spare wheels fixed back to the off-road vehicles.
In the outlet a three position specific deflector controlled by a pneumatic cylinder, steers the flow on the vertical parts of the cars in order to dry in a better way.

Wheel-washer

The height from the ground of the wheel-washer is adjustable. In the approach stroke to the wheels, the bristle goes toward the floor in order to suit to the small diameter rims.
The device is made up by two disk brushes, which by means of a specific detective unit, see to the washing of the wheel rim. The drawer support of the wheel-washer slides at opening and closing by means of a pneumatic cylinder. During the washing cycle the disk brush reverses the rotation sense and the rollover makes a translation movement forward and backwards, at reduced speed, in order to fit better the brush to the big diameter rims (off-road vehicles, vans, etc…).

The wheels washer brushes are made with a special polyethylene fiber very durable for effective, precisely and accurately washing of the wheels. Our brush is made with a particular inclination of the fiber and a different length of the bristles to allow an excellent cleaning even the 20” wheels.

Chemical products central unit

The quality of the washing results represents the main target of the action of our car washing. Therefore the strategic importance for the Company Mix is improving the technical features of the central units of the chemical products carrying out the necessary devices in order to get the food functioning of the same. The central unit is very compact and has got all the functional components such as the dosing pumps and the electric valves and the chemical products to be dosed. The central unit has moreover an easy degree of maintenance and of connection by means of connectors. The tanks of the chemical products have got a capacity of about 20 l, equipped with a level indicator for the determination of the liquid quantity. The water and air electric valves are modular and it is possible to adjust them in a second assembly for an eventual accessory which could be added to the installation.

OPTIONALS

This unit can be put also in areas external to the washing installation, like closed locals or cabinet modules.
Low level chemical products warning
In case of emptying of the tank of the chemical product, an incorporated sensor informs at
the right time the operator. The level of the most used products is detected also together in the presence of other optionals, the life of which is always superior. The device finds its logical employment only with the control Device GSM or via MODEM.

 

Electrical cabinet

In order to accomplish an electrical panel functional and safe, has developed adequate constructive design such as to indicate immediately the needs and the criticality of the washing system that was created. Greatest attention is also taken in ability to respond appropriately to the different requirements of our customers. The hardware has been specifically designed to save space in the electrical cabinet. Along with the small Communication Modules and Signal Modules, this system saves valuable space, providing maximum efficiency and flexibility for customization of the electrical cabinet. The logic that has been developed the software, allows the efficient and flexible washing programs.
The already strong partnership with Siemens for the self-service Jet Washes Equipment, is also repeated for the new Rollover equipment. The joint development and synergies, have allowed the creation of this electrical cabinet.

OPTIONALS
Remote diagnostic device via GSM, SIM card not included
The device can interface with self-diagnosis system, warning operator immediately in the event of ”machine stop”, via SMS messages. In this way it is possible to know in real time and in any place you are, if there are problems on the equipment, and then take immediate action. In addition, the Technical Service may log on to “remote” the equipment for any adjustments.

Push-button panel-Operator Panel

Our operator panel is characterized by the ability to operate in an extended range of temperature from -20 °C to 60 °C and a relative humidity from 10% to 90%, for the anti-reflective LCD and for the protective layer against aging by UV exposure.

It adapts perfect for use in applications with severe weather conditions in outdoor environments and the presence of direct sunlight. The display front IP65 makes it suitable for installation in environments with strong presence of water and high humidity.
The TFT display with LED backlight is equipped with high contrast (500:1) and brightness (700cd / m²) that allows the operator easy reading and operation.
Quite simply you can create different wash programs and quickly transfer the operating parameters in the PLC system.
